Yes. That is highly irrational and especially CP for a well worn Previa/Tarago.

It’s what caught my attention and made me lol. It’s from a MKII, when it was still called the Celica Supra.

It was a common thing back in the 90s... at least here in the south...
I knew at least 3 vans in my town that had Celica or Supra wheels. The manager of the Papa John’s pizza where I worked when I was 19 had a brown 5-speed van with Supra wheels. It had gold stripes down the side, too. So, so 80s.

Here in the states, we don’t use the metric system and the used cars tend to cost more.

Relatively close, cheap, and Toyota. How could it go wrong?

As the proud original owner of a 1984 Toyota Van LE 5 speed in this exact color, I absolutely love it. It’s been posted on the toyota van facebook group recently. I’ve been trying to get my brother to buy it.
$2600 isn’t too out of line here. The 4x4 ones are going for a ~$2000 more. This is mid-range for a relatively nice 2wd.
I can put up a pic of mine if somebody lets me know how to do that :)

It’s a bizarre, 80s van.
But yeah that thing’s rad.

My dad drove the panel van version for a company car back when I was 16 - I thought it was hilarious to see the same engine under the seat jump as my 86 sr5 pickup..

Not the same I don’t think ....84-85 used 3YEC and 86-89 used 4YEC. I believe, but could be wrong, that the Van was the only US product with that engine. Was the truck using a 22R engine in 86?
